Senior Program Officer
Amy Aparicio Clark, M.Ed., serves as Managing Director for Community Impact and Strategy at the Aetna Foundation. Amy is responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of the Foundation’s Cultivating Healthy Communities program, which seeks to catalyze measurable improvements in the health of residents of low-income communities. Amy oversees a $4 million portfolio of grants, and manages relationships with 50 nonprofit grantee partners across the country. Prior to her tenure at the Foundation, Amy spent 17 years managing health and education research projects for state- and national-level nonprofit agencies. Her projects focused primarily on Latino youth and families. Adept at both casting vision and tracking details, Amy has led the development and utilization of numerous strategic plans, impact metrics, and process improvements in nonprofit and corporate settings. Having been born and lived in Peru as a child, she brings global perspective and cultural sensitivity to every professional and personal interaction. Amy is fluent in Spanish and conversant in French and Russian.
