A Message from Latino Connection
Dear Collaborators in Health,
The Latino demographic is considered to be the fastest growing and now largest ethnic populace in the U.S; with the Census Bureau estimating 1 in 3 individuals will be Latino by 2050. This growing demographic will soon make up a third of the U.S. population, and thus far very little is known about the health standards and disparities in the community; having been largely underrepresented in overall research findings.
The Latino Health Summit will be a gathering of hundreds of healthcare professionals who directly and indirectly affect the public health of the Latino community. It will be the efforts of healthcare organizations like yours that will essentially bring change for Latinos in the public health sector. You will be part of responding to an increasing series of questions concerning the current and future health status of a significantly growing U.S. ethnic group.
I invite you to attend this pivotal event and become a part of a network of Latino health advocates working to bring lasting results to a growing demographic. I am delighted to welcome you as a fellow participant amongst a community of doers. I look forward to seeing you on April 4th, 2018 in Lancaster!
