Dr. Weber received his B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College in 1976 and his M.D. from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Mexico in 1980. He completed his Residency in OB/GYN at the Hershey Medical Center, Penn State University, where he served as Chief Resident in 1985. At Pinnacle Health System, Harrisburg, PA, he served as Chair of the Dept. of OB/GYN (1992-1996), Co-Founder and Director of the Family Practice OB/GYN Fellowship Program (1995-2002), Director of Medical Education for the Dept. of OB/GYN (1998-2002), and President of the Medical Staff (2002-04). Dr. Weber was the founding partner of Weber OB/GYN Associates, Harrisburg, PA (1986-2004). He then served as Director of OB/GYN Education at Lancaster General Hospital until 2013. He has repeatedly earned recognition for excellence in clinical teaching, including the 1999 Blockley-Osler Award for Excellence in Teaching Clinical Medicine from MCP Hahnemann University School of Medicine. In 2016, Dr. Weber founded the Medical ESL Program at the Literacy Council of Lancaster-Lebanon.Dr. Weber currently serves as In-house Medical Expert for the Pennsylvania Dept. of State. Dr. Weber loves linguistics. He is conversant in Spanish, and hopes to be moderately conversant in Greek shortly!
